Nothing could be more intriguing than celebrating your first honeymoon underwater or I’d say that only lovely see creatures see your amorous moments. Very soon, you will be able to experience these magical undersea views.
Poseidon is a chain of underwater five-star resorts presently under development with the first slated to open by Septemeber 2008.Poseidon resort will be located 15 metres underwater off the Bahamian island of and connected to the mainland by two tunnels and an escalator. The pressure will be the same as at the surface.
Bruce Jones, head of the project says people who are interested in experiencing something they can’t find anywhere else in the world will find it a real bargain. The project costs around the $US40 million ($A51 million)
Jones added:
Guests can expect to see a large variety of tropical fish, tuna and turtles, and with a bit of luck, sharks, from the comfort of their rooms, or even from their private Jacuzzis.
The hotel makers claims that Poseidon resort will be one of a kind, as guests will not need to don scuba gear to reach their luxury suites. An underwater tunnel will take visitors to their rooms, which will be 50 feet below the surface contain 550 square feet of transparent space that offers a view of the coral gardens from inside the transparent acrylic walls. Moreover, a device that allows you feed the fish from inside your room enhance your enjoy.The hotel will have its own restaurant, a bar and 20 large suites with transparent acrylic walls facing coral gardens that can be lit up at night.

But as the experience is unique the Hotel rents are also unique, you have to pay $1,500 a night.
