Space seems to be the future destination for travel . Everything seems to be about space, helium-filled airship hotels, future space hotels (whenever that is possible), Future hotel ‘pods‘ that could be moved to travel needs specific destinations and removed once the demand was over. Yet one part of our planet remains undiscovered: The Vast Ocean and its hidden secrets.

To this end Hydropolis, a $500-million underwater hotel on the coast of Dubai will be opening for business late in 2007. This expensive luxury hotel will have lavish suites, a ballroom, a shopping mall and a missile-defense system to ward off terrorists and will offer rooms for $3,000 a night.
A spokesperson for the hotel has said:
At the shallow water hotel, guests are exposed to big fish tanks that contain controlled water and fish, since shallow water is muddy and not transparent. At the deep water hotel, visitors are looking directly into the sea,

How well it will turn out only time will tell. For those of us on a budget it will be far too expensive, guess we will have to wait for numerous hotels like this to come up to be able to afford them.
